I was never a fan of Rooney. But I'm not surprised about him just died, considering his age.

A wise but grumpy man. RIP, Mr. Rooney.

    *looks at title*

And here I thought we had a chance of beating Manchester United this season... :(  (read: just friendly advice that title is confusing and may lead to false hopes of league success)

Anyways, this is sad news. RIP.

Well, he had a good, long life, 60 minutes of fame (which is more than 4 people are supposed to get), and left behind a journalistic legacy. I think, sad as his passing is, he could be satisfied with that life.

So sad when he just retired. I remember as a kid my dad watching 60 minutes and he was there doing his commentary. RIP Andy.

And you think the two weren't connected? Besides he was older than dirt. And I always found his "wisdom" to be a bewildered old man railing against a world he could no longer understand.
