People are stupid. That's all that needs to be said.

    EDIT

This BS is like saying that watching TV commercials with the Hamm's Beer Bear back in the 70's makes me want to drink Hamm's Beer. I drink it because it's a good beer.

Is anyone actually surprised by this though?

But the next victim, the Geico Lizard is to blame for high insurance rates.

Wendy, The Colonel, and The King are next. Because, you know, parents aren't to blame for obesity, or even the food. It's all the fault of the mascots.

    Idiots.

Might as well get rid of every single mascot for every single fattening food product or restaurant.

After all, it's not like parents control what there kids do or don't eat, or teach them right or wrong anymore. The TV and internets does all that nowadays.

    *facepalm*

Sure it's the mascot making your kids fat. Don't bother to pay attention how many calories are in a single MD cheeseburger, don't bother to try a slightly-more-expensive-but-healthier meal for your kids for just one day. *sarcasm*

Oh yes, because blaming a fast food mascot is right! Don't mind the fact a cheeseburger already contains more calories than necessary, it's the mascot who makes them fat! *end sarcasm*

Isn't this old news? They banned Ronald from their ads years ago and replaced him with "active lifestyle" ads featuring people playing sports and eating McDonalds.

The good thing is that McD's has no plans on retiring Ronnie.

This is just a bunch of blowhard idiots placing blame for their shortcomings as parents.

Kids really should be disciplined instead of the blame being put on McD.
