Looks good, that mold's a nice fit for Prime. You could always say he's Optronix, that would also be a cool fit.
its the magic of drybrushing! spray coat something black then gently go over it with an old brush dabbed in a bit of silver paint( not too much mind you) then watch the details of the mold come out wonderfully.
Love it! Nice paint application. And man, I knew that mold suggested Prime, but when you put the right colors on it absolutely SCREAMS it. Nice work!
Optimus Minor, calling back to Beast Wars. That mold screamed Optimus, I figured it would happen eventually. I didn't want to fool with all the sanding on mine to prevent rubs, too many tight areas.
true that. i had to wear out the hinges by sanding WITHOUT removing the pins.. too tricky. was worth it though, no chipping or major rubbing to speak of. but on the other hand... owie, carpal tunnels!

Nice repaint! This mold works really good for a Opt Prime before Prime upgrade. But I really think Optronix or Orion Pax works better for his name.
