I know this sounds stupid, but is it possible Roller is that dead Autobot in the Ark? Notice how similar the heads are:

I'm probably wrong and it's just a nameless protoform..

Doesn't make any sense for that to be him.

In the filsm they use the Same Protoform Models For Avoid Speding more Money in Making Differents Models (Unless you are Sentinel Prime, One of the Original Primes, Fallen and Megatron)

Thats why all Decepticons Protoforms Looked the same in ROTF

Yes but this was is distinctly different from the others we've seen, especially the Autobot Protoforms from the first movie. This one is lacking the windowed-chest look that they all had. Plus the head doesn't match either Decepticon or Autobot for that matter.

Of course though they could just be using Roller's CGI model just for a generic dead Autobot. They do look pretty similar IMO

Could it be Roller, it is possible since it does have a slight resemblance.

But since most Proto's look pretty much identical theres no way to know until we see some more footage.

I def think it would be awesome if they did include him in the movie though.

Seeing as there are dozens of guys who look like that embedded in the walls, I wouldn't bet on it.

That's not true, Ironhide's head blatantly had his eyes and a different mouth.

Your half right. Sentinel Prime is not in a 'protoform' form. The Autobot's and Decepticon's only adopt the 'protoform' form when they are entering a planet through the atmosphere on their own without the aid of a ship or something similar. That's why they come crashing down as meteors. Megatron arrived on earth in his cybertronian jet form, so that explains him not being a protoform. The Original Prime's and the Fallen are never shown entering earth in the film, they could of easily adopted their forms on arrival or they may have arrived by ship or even possibly through a space bridge since the Fallen demonstrated he could teleport(like Jetfire) from the Nemesis to Earth in seconds.

Now in response to OP's question, I can't make out that screen shot from the trailer you've posted, which part of the image are you referring to? I just see chunks of metal lying around the ship and the two astronauts in the distance.
