So what happened to these two? Prime is supposedly a 3 part bot. Optimus, Roller, and Trailer. So when he died what happened to trailer and roller? Did they die with him? Did they get thrown into cold storage on cybertron? Were they lost in subspace? Not to mention the straight forward question of where does Trailer go when Prime is in bot mode and how does it get to him so fast moving back to vehicle?
Roller became Alternator Optimus Prime. If I remember the Marvel written bio right, the loss of the trailer or Roller would hurt Prime, but the loss of Prime would spell the end of Roller and the trailer, too. Prime was the main unit, and the others couldn't exist without him.
They started to work for Rodimus, less job security though. And what happends to them when OP transforms? They are always just a little to the right of the camera, just enough that you can't see them.
I think that Trailer and Roller had a robot mode and when prime went to fight they would transformer and go hit the bar, watch the battle on tv and laugh while Optimus Prime got slapped around a little then make it back in time when the battle was over.
Both the Trailer and Roller got caught in the pocket dimension called "The Out" that all Transformers can use to store weapons and "missing mass". It's a form of Transformers technology unknown to humans and will remain that way.* *Backscatter was once blown into The Out by an experimental escape mechanism. He later re-appeared on the end of the Fortress Maximus Master Sword. He had to quickly transform and fly away from the arc of the swing. He offically verified that Roller and the Trailer remained there until the Quintesson returned Optimus Prime to life. All mass in The Out appeared as digital information to his sensors. Luckily Backscatter can read digital. Backscatter is on yet another dimensional trip, on vacation on a small blue world where Transformers appear in this Universe as action figures. He will store his collection in The Out before his return home. He's still amazed how accurate humans have made Transformers without actully having seen them. -Backscatter's Brainmaster
Ahhh i put this in my G1 don't ask file. Right beside where do they go? And how does Megatron get so small? And my favourite where does Omega Supremes parts go? And how do they turn up? I stopped asking questions to all the G1 faults as a kid.
They decided to lay low while Rodimus was running things, and quietly sponsored a letter-writing campaign among kids and parents to bring Optimus back.
