Ooh, a duel purpose thread, anyone even read this? Its a future War comic from the pages of UK's 2000AD... I was wondering if anyone else even knows of this character apart from me...

Oh, and his game is coming out soon as well from Rebellion... something I'll be picking up.

Oh HELL yes. One of my all-time favourite comic strips; a friend of mine still has the board game.

He was the guy who rode round on a dumb looking bike dispensing justice in a corrupt city with his "Lawtaker" gun, right?

That entire line is wrong... so wrong...

Nah, I'm really looking forward to the game, which is out this month apparently. Although, if I can't snipe Nort air tubes there's going to be hell to pay. Or at least a return to the 2nd hand bin.

I still have an old Quality Comics issue which reprinted the ending to the coup story with Coogan somewhere, I'm all happy seeing as the original Rogue Trooper is getting all reprinted and the game is based on him, not that Friday guy... (what was the deal with that? And then there was a story where the two Rogues meet up? Eh? WTF was that all about?)

Anyway, I see only UKer's know who the hell I'm talking about...

That's not the game where you're helmet, gun, and backpack are possessed by the souls of your teammates and talk to you throughout the game is it?

Well thats just freaky and weird, I'm positive I did a thread about Rogue Trooper on the Wii, and yet all I can find is this thread I started BACK IN 2006 ABOUT THE PS2/XBOX game? Something wrong with the database?

Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone else was playing the Wii game or not? Because I've basically not seen it on sale at retail anywhere, I had to get it from the internet, and I've only seen it advertised in 2000AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine only?

Anyway I'm enjoying it in between SF4 and HOTD Overkill, but I'm afraid no one else is playing it...

Makes me sad. Even the thread about it died...

I actually want a Rogue Trooper game that basically plays like Fallout 3.

Wander around Nu Earth/the Wasteland, and aid Southers/Wastelanders against Norts/Raiders. Nu Earth Monstrosities/Super Mutants are a threat to both.

Help out the Souther war effort while tracking down the Traitor General...

There are actually a lot of 2000AD references in Roue Trooper: Quartz Zone Massacre already (Dix front etc) but I'm hoping there's be a level set in the Canyons of the Mind, going up against Nort Spyders, and I'm hoping beyond hope that Bio Wire gets a look in. But I suspect it won't.

I never actually read Strontium Dog...

Someone, well Rebellion, should do a Supersurf game. Jug McKenzie should be potentially the fastest, but he has wacky controls that randomise themselves every 10 seconds because he's always drunk...

Rebellion needs to make a Fiends of the Eastern Front game. Soviets vs Nazis vs Vampires FTW.
