The hands are from a Master Grade Sazabi (Gundam) and you are welcome to use the idea for the lights. Thanks for the suggestion on the pinstripes, they were thick because I needed to cover some of the masking errors. I should have ordered the stencil from F_R, but I am almost zero on my TF funds so I had to manually mask and spray the flames.

Thanks for all your comments, will take note of these when I do the next ROFT Prime.

I would not suggest using dark red, coz the colors tend to become darken as you spray gloss finishes on.

Used a kotobukiya part and mod it with the use of a little pla-plate for the part on the underside of the can.

Lol, I really wasted all my effort if it really looks 'plastic'. I was trying to achieve the concept art look + realism.

Thanks for the comment, but which part of the Alt mode are you refering to? the back?

Thanks, I was refering to the concept art for the part and I know it's not on the final CG.

Eventually, haven't got around to it yet.

this thing looks cool. chrome the metallic parts of the truck, and Ill think itll be complete. I like the sheen effect of the top part of truck mode, the blue paint job is awsome. what'd you use?

This is the best ROTF leader Prime repaint hands down! I love the colors you used, for once it doesn't dull down the figure like all those other customs.

You got me wrong at 'plastic' that just how I got to put it in words what I meant was the color/finish was very TF animated, in a good way thought it looks damn real nice!

    Thanks Waveride

    I used Cobalt blue .

No worrys, I was just joking. Had to give it a glossy finish in the alt mode and yet more realism in the bot mode, and the is the result of the compromise.

I was thinking maybe tint the windows a bit darker if you can.

Amazing job! Just a quick question, or two. What that thing right behind his hands at the joint and what did you put inside his tanks on his shoulders?

Wow man, I think this is my favorite Leader Op repaint so far. Your work on the alt mode really has the appearance of automotive paint, love the finish.

I haven't done it yet to my leader prime but the gears that show through the window I find really detract from this figure. Maybe a tinted film placed behind the window with a high gloss touch up on the front of the window with future floor polish?

Brightening up the metal bits that are exposed in truck mode would help I think but otherwise it really isn't harmed by what you have done.

I really am in love with this custom you have. If you were to put a time on how long you emptied your heart and soul into this thing, how long has it taken you so far?

This is absolutely spot on beautiful. I love the gloss and the choice in colours. I know people don't always like to give their secrets away but what types of paints did you use? (coloring and brand)

I admire Sabrina and Frenzy_Rumble's look but for some reason this type of paint really strikes a cord with me. I feel like I am looking at some early CGI render of Prime before the Hollywooded him and put him on the big screen. All the details are there, he just doesn't move better than I do just yet. :p  I love off this custom, nice job.

I no doubt am a huge fan of you work. I enjoy the smooth feel of the paint. As the artist you are, you already know what to fix. No need for me to say:)  The inside of the chest and the hip add ons are great!! I really like this Prime, a lot!! And the peace sign!!!! Yeah articulated hands!!!!

It is a hard call when it comes to color. If you look at some pics of Prime, the blue is almost dead on, but if you look at the real truck, you will see what is different.

maybe next time you could darken up the blue and add a little metal flake!!

Visited this thread again to absorb more awesomeness..

Just one crit: The smokestacks don't seem to be the same length. The one to our left (when facing the truck/Optimus) seems to be longer.
