I just finish getting Rodimus assemble

Here my lasted WIP :

It an Alternator Rodimus here some pictures of it work in progress. He all ready being painted just waiting for paint to dry and too assemble..

new exhaust pipes on each side of the truck
new wheels; too keep his Hotrod roots

I don't think I've seen anyone do Rodimus from this mold. Great idea

Never liked OP in this mold, never really cared for Roddy in the Mirage mold, but Roddy in THIS mold is genius!

If this is for who I'm guessing it might be for, I'm going to be MUNDO jealous!

Looking good.....nice use of the Ani Lockdown exhaust pipes too....fits quite well.

 

WHOA great idea. This is definitely something to watch! Never liked the Ram truck either, but as Rodimus?! Mucho interesting.

LOL nope! Now I wish it was mine! As much as I love Alts/BTs, that mold...I just can't stand! Still, this should be something outstanding.

X, in regards to your poll, I would totally go for GOLD. Not yellow, not orange, but gold. Just like the BBS rims on a WRX STi. Uh...Alt/BT Smokescreen if you will! I think a 'bot like Rodimus, though is now a little mature and bigger, should still be ballin' in some slick rims.  

 

I voted for black rims and grill, simply because it looks damn cool.

 

Is there a silver rims option? Coz i think that would be be best.

I really, REALLY think you should paint the grille the same colour as the hood. It looks good in black but I think it'll look spectacular in orange. Maybe keep the mesh black though, or highlight with yellow/red?

How about painting the rims to look something like this?

Maybe orange rim and black grill. Maybe try a digibash first to see how it will turn out.

 

Paint the wheels silver or chrome, and the grille red.

 

I say paint the rims silver, and grille surround orange (obviously the grille inserts should be black, or silver), Hot Rod had silver rims
