That's an awesome setlist. Might pick this up just for Run To The Hills!

Yes, a setlist that has more than 3 songs that I like, but the HUD looks too different from GH that I can't get used to it

Yeah the set list alone is enough for me.

It's a strange set list. Some sound good, some sound terrible. It seems like they have the right bands (some horribly wrong bands. cough Fall Out Boy) and wrong songs.

Rock Band's got it pretty right. All it needs to do is absorb Guitar Hero and it'll be the only rock game we'll ever need.

For this game to work, it'll have to have some real rock features, not some arcady crap, customizable character is now a must, better-than-Guitar Hero gameplay (I doubt it), lots and lots of songs or really really low price.

*Funnily enough, Konami's worked with Harmonix for games that eventually led to Rock Band...

These words make me shudder. "Singstar", "Air Guitar using Wiimote", "Record your own songs", "***** Revolution" possibly of Karaoke-ing and Dancing kind.

    ^Activision vs. Harmonix vs. Konami

They've all worked together, and they're now competing in the same market using the same technology basis. Woe is me. Although, I feel like Rock Band best represents the Rock genre in general, the whole character customization, world tour mode, etc...

Last thing I expected was for Guitar Hero to sprout a set of drums.

Sounds like Konami is tired of being the longest-lived dog in this genre that has also had the least success outside of Japan. :lol

Love for Guitar Freaks and Beatmania and its colleagues for coming first, but yeah. Going to wait and see on this one.

i think the reason the made they made the fretboard look like that is because of dance dance revolution and how it's arrows go. probably to keep some form of consistency with the "revolution" name. too bad every song is a cover though.

I actually think I'll be passing on Rock Band for Wii in favour of this. I love that setlist (except for Sk8r Boi).

Eeeeew... Avril Lavigne.... But so many other good songs. Shame there's no PS2 version (yes, I'm living in the past).

Whats that new rhythm game where apparently you can make your own versions of songs and then upload them? But apparently it won't do vocals for this homebrew stuff cuz of copyright?

I heard about it on the radio but wasn't listening until they mentioned this editor mode thing, but I didn't catch the name from earlier.
