I've got a near complete set. I'm only missing the big round blue guy from the third series, and the fourth series (where the gimmick was you slam them down on a flat surface and they spring open).

Don't care for the ones that I'm missing so I'm satisfied with what I own. I've even got the gestalt, the Japanese one with the combiner parts and BB gun.

At the time I thought they were a bit silly but I've since gotten a better appreciation for them. My 5 year old also likes Rock Lords more than he's seemed to like his TF Animated 2-pack (deluxe OP and Megatron) so far.

Or to observe them in the animation:

YouTube - Machine Robo clipshow# 3: Rock Lords

(By the way, the crystal one who revives the bigger robot is female in the US line. The toy was sculpted female and everything, she just became a male character in Japan).

I think I may dig out my collection for some pics, I love those guys :)

Score!! 2 Narlies from the hard to find Series 2! Picked up Narliebat and Narlielion today on eBay from a UK dealer. Set me back $20 bucks a piece, but since they are near impossible to find I'm happy w/ the price. Sure they're ugly little critters, but they're all mine!

    Which

Which Rock Lords were your favorite? My favorites were tied between Nuggit and Slimestone, followed by Boulder. I did not own too many. I'd like to find the jewel one called Sunstone. I used to have him but with many of my old toys they were lost or sold.

Those are the only ones I'm missing, as well. What's funny is that I didn't have any until going to TFcon this year. I bought a few for my son, and I've just been buying them all since.

Rock Roller (the "big round blue guy") is kinda neat. Sure he's big and round, but his gimmick is actually pretty good. Stone Hook is the best of the 3 IMO. The Shock Rocks are lame and not worth the asking price most dealers have attached. I had 2 of the 3 and sold them off when I realized people were willing to pay $50+. Then again I don't have too much room to talk since I just plopped down $49 for 2 Narlies!

My favourite would be this guy:

Released in Japan, he's the Fossil Saurer combiner. This one, from the Battle Hackers series, comes with the additional armour that really fills out the stomach area and adds a nice BFG (that is a working BB gun).

    Fossil Lord

Wow, I've seen pictures of the Fossil Lord combiner. Where can I find one and what price would I expect to pay?

    Thanks!

I also have some that changed from eggs to different animals but I can't remember what they were called?

I bought the Fossilsaurus combiner boxed and complete for $100 a few years ago @ Botcon. He pops up on eBay every so often for $200+ usually (at least what I've seen), but he always seems to appear on Yahoo! Japan auctions. After fees and such when using a bidding service + shipping you'll still probably pay $150+.

Very cool toy, kinda regret selling him. Though the individual 'bots leave a lot to be desired. Dino mode though rocks! (no pun intended)

I actually just traded Methusalen for some of his Rock Lords. I had always wanted some, but never had any. Now I have three. :)

I just wished I was as cool as Sol Fury.

dude, that's so rad...i've got most of the smaller ones...but really wanna finish the mainline...don't need any of the little furry ones...but the combiner would be nice...saw one MIB about a year ago, and it was only 50 i think...but i passed...

my favorite is Stoneheart i have the one i had as a kid still...but he's missing an arm...but i bought a new one about a year ago and love him...
