Was it an auto-update or do you have to go find it in marketplace? I don’t remember getting an auto one yesterday.

Oh and even still on the solo guitar leader boards I’m crunching you guys with 2,455,221 point making my #7758 over all. :D

I am totally hating the fret bars on this game. I know I am keeping up to the beat and then somewhere halfway on multiple frets of the same kind it misses the note. Either there is a slow delay on the game or this game sucks. I can't beat Vagiants "Seven" because of this stupid shit. Is anyone else having this problem?

It was an auto-update. Loaded up RB, and it signed me out of live to do the update and all.

BUZZ! I FIXED MY GUITAR! You'll have to open up the guitar for this, but it works. Really, really well.

Ok, so after you open the guitar, you'll see two metal plates that meet for the strumming, that I've marked in this pic.

Place a thin piece of cardboard between the metal plate and the screw, as shown by the red lines in this pic.

This allows the metal plates and sensors to touch, as there is now a small gap between them, as opposed to the larger one causing the problem.

We should sticky this post or something.

Cool I’ll check it out this weekend. I also found this fix today.

    http://community.rockband.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=9291

Also I did get the auto-update when I first put the game in; I thought there might have been a second one or something.

Did you calibrate for your TV under options? You could also be having the earliest signs of the troubles onesock and I are having.

Damn a few days ago this thread got me all excited about this game. The broken guitars are turning me off though.

Nice, I think I'm going to follow those instructions first.

*edit* Yay, seems to have worked. Will not play songs and make sure.

The game is still ruling. If you have a Guitar Hero guitar you’ll at lest have something to use if you Rock Band one blows out. I think all in all Rock Band is a better game the GH so I still recommend it.

I was talking to dude at Gamestop and he said his was busted right out of the box and he used the e-mail that comes with the game. They said they are sending him a new one and he should get it three business days and to just put the old one in the new ones shipping box and send it back. I was imprested with the speed they are dealing with this but I think I’m still going to try and fix it myself first. If I fail I’ll write in for the replacement. In the mean time I’m just using the GHII guitar.

This is why I reserve shizzle like this at Gamestop months in advance. First off, I can pay it off slowly, whenever I want, second off, I'm guranteed a copy.
That being said...I really wanna play this game...but nobody's invited me to their house to play it yet >.>

Hmm thanks for the info. Good to know they are trying to take care of the problem quickly. Maybe by the time I get it the kinks will be worked out.

Yessssss. You do! And it sucks you have to wait for the awesomeness. Buy hey, hopefully they'll have the kinks worked out by then, and get the Band World Tour online going.

I call bass for the TFW2005 Band!

    The wierdest thing happened...

I promised myself that that microphone would never see the light of day, but we had some people over...next thing i knew I was singing. The wierd part is it was fun and i am pretty good at it...I'm starting to find the thing i was looking forward to most (drum) are the things i hate the most, and the least appealing feature (vocals) are what im having fun with.

I was pleasently surprised how awesome the vocals are.

Thankfully the Headset can be used as a mic as well, so I can play around in Band World Tour with the guitar, and singing with the headset on.
