NO! Especially seeing as Buddy Holly is just as easy yet at the same time 100x more fun.

    Join the party again :(

Alive, Where Did You Go! Oh fuck me this is awesome. My two favorite bands, one I never thought I would ever, ever see on a Rock Band game.

None as of yet, rumour is simultaneous. Reality may well be different. E3 should deliver concrete details.

Not really high on my agenda, however if people in GH: WT start cranking out NON-ROCK-genre shit, then it just may be worth it.

Very true. I mean the music generator isn't a "make or break" type deal for me. I'm more curious as to see what can really be done with it. Although I doubt it would any more intricate than if I just used one of my own guitars and bought a drum machine.

The second someone does some reggae-dub-ska with it that sounds good I will be at the store, money in fist.

Kotaku and Joystiq offer dueling information. Kotaku says yes to RB1 songs transferring, Joystiq says not so fast. Press release is noncommittal, only specifically mentioning DLC. E3 needs to get here so Harmonix can clear this the hell up. They're being coy enough about it that I'm pretty sure it's happening at this point, but still.

I have already payed for GH:World Tour but I tell you this is sounding better and better. I really wish that Rockband and Guitar Hero would come to an agreement on the controllers so we could use both on both games.

Guitar Hero Aerosmith is a huge step in the right direction, fluke or purposeful?

Dunno, but... it would certainly be good for the consumer and both games sales.

    You and me both, rudie.

We need Ska Band :D  And not with just 90s Third Wave stuff, but with some Skatalites, Desmond Dekkar, Toots and the Maytals, Laurel Atkin, The English Beat, Specials, The Selector, Madness, Operation Ivy, Bosstones... I'll wake up now...

Same here. It'd be something fun to mess with now and then, but it's not a deal breaker by far. Not to mention I really don't trust your average or even hardcore RB/GH player to chart songs well. They did that with GH 3 and well, we know how that turned out.
