Wisconsin Transformers Sightings

Spotted in Wal-Mart in Wisconsin. Thanks to Slagwave for the tip.

If I'm not mistaken, that's all of them out in the US now.

 

Finally!!!

 

Basically, that means the RID line has been released in the US in its entirety... except for the Legion Class wave with Cyclonus and Heatseeker (plus a "Combiner Force" packaging variant re-release of Drift), which was released in Europe but has been skipped in the US for the wave that contains Twinferno (pluse "Combiner Force" packaging variant re-releases of Sideswipe and Groundbuster).

 

Saberhorn and Bisk? Odd combination, but now I really would have wanted to see it on the show and of course, really wonder how such a combiner would behave.

 

I imagine he can get a bit crabby at times, but don't let it bug you.

 

I really hate the crash combiners for their lack of articulation. It was rough buying some just to complete all of the characters.

 

Knowing what we know about PotP now, these seem like a test run at reviving Duocons that did well enough to carry into Generations. So with that in mind I appreciate what they are (a throwback to G1 Duocons) and look forward to Hasbro introducing more of them in a similar style to Battleslash/Roadtrap in the future.

And thus the RiD toyline ends with my boy Saberhorn getting nothing more than a gimmick toy with some nerdy lobster.

Does anyone else find it weird that steeljaw (or another member of the pack) didn\'t get a crash combiner?

 

You think Steeljaw would lower himself to resorting to combining with others and letting their minds pollute his intellect?

 

did that super large box of RID MINICONS ever get released to retail?
I've not seen it in a retail store or available online at all.

 

Yeah, I am hoping Heatseeker is released still, I want that toy... if we never got Warriors versions of the Stunticons, at least Legion will do. They were the main villains of much of season 3/4.
Unless the rumors are true, and Cyberverse will see more RID characters released, this is also our only chance of getting Saberhorn... pity the toy is crap.

I got them from UK ebay, there are plenty there, so they must be available in the UK somewhere. Btw, planning to do comparison photos between the 15pack and regular minicons, as soon as I can dig out the rest of my old ones...
