The recent spate of RM KOs in the UK got me researching the subject. I have found 5 different lots so far - what can anyone tell me about them ?

    =-=-=-=-=-

    1) There's a set of deluxe sized RM KO's doing the round in Poundland with a light up chest gimmick.

    They are

    Tractor Trailers - Convoy
    Skyhawk - Starscream
Draken - R-Blade - Jetfire colour scheme Hooligan Cyberjet
Formula - Ligier - Mirage colour scheme racecar flipchanger
Tow Trucks - Wreckerhook - Tow Truck flipchanger
Viggen - Air Hunter - Black Megatron head flipchanger jet
Starfighter - Wing Stun - Camo flipchanger jet with the other head
Lockheed - Armada Thrust with grey for green colour swap

Tow Trucks, Viggen and Starfighter all have their weapon parts.

Draken has a black version of the Ligier Gun which all previous Flipchangers race cars had, while Formula has a black version of R-Blade's new gun.

    =-=-=-=-=-

    2) There are normal sized versions of Convoy, Ligier and Tow Trucks doing the rounds under the Super Robot name

    =-=-=-=-=-

    3) The Entertainer have been getting in Knock Offs under the Power Warrior name

    =-=-=-=-=-

    4) There are 8 inch versions too - R-Blade/Jetfire & Convoy

    =-=-=-=-=-

    5) and I know nothing about these

    =-=-=-=-=-

Any more info on any of these or knowledge of any other RM KOs gladly recieved

I've seen these numerous times, one thing though.

I've seen them putting out fresh boxes of these on the shelves.
'Lockheed' and 'Viggen' are never in the case, whether they just are extremely shortpacked, or never made, I dont know.

New RM KO alert, again in Poundland, again under the Trasnformable Robot name. Same packaging front as before - blank back - but this time we've got 2 unnamed toys in a package together..... and they're standard size Flipchangers ! They've managed the same bundling as RID did in the US - the Skid-Z toy with Windsheer (Lije vs Air Hunter) and Towline vs Skyfire (Wrecker Hook vs Wing Stun)

All toys have clear blue plastic heads.

Lije is very close to the Japanese version including the RM03 sticker on his tail fin. He's got an interesting red detail on his nose cone which is the same as the Power Warrior KO of this toy in the Entertainer.

Wrecker Hook is nearly identical to his Power Warrior version - bright red with flame details, still missing the gun barrel off the grill weapon - except that he's got arms that bend at the elbow, and is missing the flame detail on the side. Hasbro should do an official version of this as Rodimus Prime.

Air Hunter (the one with Megatron's head) is black with red upper limbs and auto change mechanism. Some mettalic silver detailing too.

Wing Stun (the other one) is black with a gold camo pattern edged in red on his upper surfaces.

You get the relevant parts of the combined RM weapon in blue, plus the 2 part guns for each of the jets molded in one piece. Lije comes with his new RM Gun, and not his 2 part gun

For £1 the pair it's no bad deal, quality is quite good though there's some mold flak that'll need cleaning off
