Do you think Hasbro would ever bring back this program? Personally I loved collecting these back in the day.

I liked the old Robot Points myself..I got the old S.T.A.R.S. base and membership card back in the day by cashing some points in.

Would be kinda neat if they had managed to work some sort of promo like the ol robot points in with the movie stuff.

Would it even work with all the MIB "collectors" out there?

A lot of the Japanese figures still have robot points (MP-05 has 10!). But I suppose this just a nostalgia thing with no current use.

They were fairly few and far between, IIRC Time warrior was the only thing offered for quite some time. There was a mail in for Triggerhappy, Mindwipe, Chromedome, Sureshot and even TM Hotrod though.

What's the point of using the points to get things for "free" when you have to pay for them?

Hasbro tried this a few years ago with the Jedi points on the back of Star Wars figures and the program failed miserably. The only thing I could see them doing would be to collect stickers or something from various figures and mail them in like they did with the Star Wars vintage figures.

Wait... Jedi points were actually worth something? I think I still have a stack of them around somewhere, but never came across anything with an offer to redeem them.

I like the idea of robot points for mail away exclusives better than overpriced botcon exclusives.

I THOUGHT I saw them on MP05's box......my eyes weren't deceiving me huh?!

Anyhow, it's be nice to use them for repaints of figures and stuff exclusive for that program. Points-only Classics Thrust, Dirge & Thundercracker..Classic Motormaster, Wildrider, etc.....
