Was out this evening trying to find a RM G1 Optimus. Instead, I found the Dengeki Hobby magazine black version! oO Searched and didn't find any threads of it, so here are some photographs: Even comes with a write-up on how Convoy got... charcoal-ed! Just curious: How much would this (MISB) normally go for?
Very pretty! I think these special edition black version usually sell for $40. If I recall correctly, there were four released, Convoy, Beast Convoy, Beast Megatron and Starscream. Thanks for the pics! ~X

Damn, that white background plus the figure make it seem as though the photo was shot in black&white. If it weren't for the insignia and the tail lights I would have thought as much.
Lio Convoy was Ehobby, the other 4 were from a magazine. Not really the same. About 5 inches. Think very light weight deluxe.
Thanks! That's about how much I got mine for! I'm pretty surprised too. This really wasn't that hard to find on my part, but couldn't find pictures of it even on Seibertron. Yeah Black Lio Convoy's one of them. I'm hoping to get him next. And sure, I'll keep a lookout for you. Yes, they are. That's exactly what I thought while editing the pictures!
Pimped! But I'm not certain about this Prime in particular. His "waist" looks as if it can snap in two. Or am I wrong?

LioConvoy was a magazine exclusive, not e-Hobby. The e-Hobby exclusives were the black Star Saber / Victory Leo.
