Seeing how they did the convention exclusives last year, they will probably repeat the same process. You sign up for it at the convention, then they send you a paypal invoice for said exclusive...
I was about to say "This should be entertaining." Damn Robot Kingdom and their convenient rule bypassing...
Maybe they are making Perfect Effect Bandanas for SG Soundwave, Hope they have something cool planned!
Damn. Depending on what it is I might have to beg someone going to bot con to get it for me. Sucks not being able to go to botcon.
They are going to do what all these third party guys are doing and that is making far superior products that embarass Hasbro that collectors are willing to shell out the cash for
Embarrass Hasbro? Why do people keep thinking this stuff is embarrassing Hasbro? All that this constant flaunting of third party stuff in Hasbro's face does is up the likelihood of Hasbro Legal cracking down. Kinda like what they're doing right now.
Yes embarass them As in how a small time independent business can crank out much better material than the multi billion dollar creator that fans are flocking to at the point where they have to ban them from the con. Embarass
Ouch... unkind. Hasbro makes a superior product, but they bow to the pressures of selling at retail just like every other toy company out there these days. I get that some sacrifices must be made for the sake of getting great toys in our hands. I just wish the 3rd party companies could work while licensed by Hasbro to produce product for them. Some small sliver of me hates supporting a company blatantly ripping off Hasbro, even though a greater portion of me really likes their products. Ohhhh... so torn!
But you also have to agree there is NO SHORTAGE of those supporting Hasbro. It's not an opinion, it's fact: Hasbro is limited in what they put out. If they had the creative freedom that independent companies have I guarantee we'd see some figures just as good if not better products comparable to TFC, FP, or Perfect Effect. Hell, even with their limitations Hasbro hits home runs more often than not ... and for a lot cheaper.
