i sent in a legends devastator to hasbro because long haul was to tight in the joint that it made it impossible to transform. it was the last one at walmart so i didn't want to send it back. so i gave it to hasbro thinking that i would get a new one back or more ez toys. they said it would be an equal price to the toy. i got a robot heros set instead. is the desert devastation set 29.99 if not im contacting hasbro. if it is i dont collect robot heros and will trade for something else.

Yeah, never send a toy back to Hasbro, you will never get the same toy.

Maybe someone would trade a long haul for the set.

That is too bad, but it has been said numerous times, never, ever, ever, ever send anything back to Hasbro, especially over one tight joint. On the bright side, you got something that most of us have never seen at retail (atleast in my state), but it does retail for less ($20) than the Legends Devs.

I would piss and moan (nicely) until they send you something of the same value.

This. It's bad enough they just swap for the same value and you're likely to get some shelf-warming crap back you could've found easily in a store on discount, but if it's not the same value, and less too, then that's just bollocks. I think I've only ever heard one instance of someone getting back the same thing they sent. I expect the guy who sent his TFA Wreck-Gar to Hasbro will be along to this thread any minute too.

Basic rule for this kind of thing is never send it back to Hasbro. Take it back to the store you bought it from and get your money back if they don't have another one. Sending it to Hasbro means you lose your money and get something you most likely didn't want in return. At least getting your money back you're no worse off than before you started and might find another of the thing you wanted at some point.
