I put my thumb on butt end and wrapped my index finger around wing and just kept increasing pressure.
Was scared at first but more confident once first one popped into place.

How does this Soundwave KO compare to the Toyworld KO Soundwave and the regular Takara KO Soundwave.

Didn't realize it on first inspection, but the Ravage that came with my set was missing his nose. Glad I already had a Takara KO set.

I ended up picking up the THF Soundwave with Laserbeak after returning the Robot Heroes Soundwave. Paint is average but the joints and hands are super tight. It's a lot better built with hands that actually grip, locking tabs, and the figure actually stands.

Yeah. I'm pretty open to some KO imperfections but I could not stand the problems on the RH Soundwave. It had Loose hands, shoulder tabs, missle launcher, and joints. The paint was decent but the joints were so bad i couldn't make it stand up straight. Soundwave's accessories weren't quality either.

While the paint on the cassettes were great, Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw doesn't transform properly and the face on Ravage was missing the nose. The only saving grace was that Rumble and Frenzy were actually very good figures but that's pretty much it.

Not mistransformed. The nose part that is there on my Takara is not there on my RH.

So the concensus is that it is a very likely miss on the hit and miss department? I also heard that it has a problem with the ejection system.

I wasn't that impressed with the Robot Hero Soundwave.

I have both the Takara and Hasbro versions of Soundwave, the THF Soundblaster, and the Robot Hero Soundwave. If you don't care about the Auto Scout, then between the THF and Robot Hero, I would definitely go THF.

I haven't messed around with the Robot Hero too much, but my main complaints are that it can't hold it's gun the well and that the legs are loose. The right shoulder took some forcing to get snapped in properly while transforming it into robot mode. The extra die cast didn't make a difference to me.

I don't doubt what your saying but all the video's I could find seemed to push the RH well above the THF. In the end, I went straight KO because of the posts I saw here but that deal fell through when the seller went rogue on me.

Now after this latest 20% deal, all the sellers that had them at $60 shipped are either sold out and/or kicked off. I knew I should've jumped on the Takara reissue when I saw it popped up at one store but I really wanted to pay less than half and get the articulated hands. 2nd copy was for fiddling and for outside the glass case display. I'm not sure what my plan C is yet or if I'll bother at this point

Since I want to get the Ocular Max Jaguar Reissue and perhaps their Volture and Buzzard, would anyone recommend the KO over budgeting a bit more for MP-13?

Or, are there any outstanding faults with MP-13 that would make the RH or THF knockoff worthwhile?
