Hi, all. Back in 2009, a Germany site said they are going to make a trasforming bus call RoboBuz. But, it as been 3 years now and all we got was they said it was comeing out in sept 2010, then sept 2011. Now bbts as got the pre-order up for march 2012. Is this ture? Or is the RoboBuz never comeing out?

I would guess he is never coming out. That being said, I still have my preorder with BBTS.

first time seeing this and it looks cool and all but really who wants a transforming bus? Just seems a little silly to me but that could be said about a lot of the 3rd party TF's

I think a bus is a lot cooler than let's say...an ice cream truck.

But yeah. I think you're right in the aspect that it would have a limited audience. Especially with all the great 3rd party toys coming out this year. It would easily get lost in the shuffle or put at the tail end of a collector's want list.

true that ice-cream truck idea was just dumb to begin with, why not go with the con exclusive punch and counter punch? BTW just read one of your post's on the 3rd party controversy and I would have to agree with you highly on how Hasbro is just not as they should be and this is coming from a GI JOE and TF collector. Sadly I have to purchase a majority of my joe parts for my customs but this year I have spent $zero on any hasbro or first party items its been nothing but third party. Okay... well I lied I did purchase a figure from Sideshow Collectables. But you know your getting quality toys from those companies.

I do like the design of this figure and with the low price I may consider him but he is not any main character that I know of or even let alone in the TF roster of bots.

hey hey now, I wasn't saying it was a bad idea, I just thought it to be a little silly but after looking at the bot it does seem to be pretty cool I just would have to see it in hand or a in-hand review before I would make the final judgment.

didn't the robot mode turn out to be pretty much the buss stood up vertically with arms and legs?
Think I remember seeing that, but maybe it was a different robot bus.

You can watch the transformation video on their website, and it's fairly complex. Actually, they've gone alot farther with advertising than any current 3rd party has. There's alot of multimedia marketing content on the site, including a video game (which totally sold me on this guy!).

KOToys had that simple bus you're thinking of.

Yes, and I was very surprised to get a response within 10 minutes, especially seeing as it was about 1am in Germany at the time.

When I pasted said response in an existing thread on here, it turns out that it was an auto-responder that they've been using for at least six months.

Yeah... don't hold your breath, folks.
