He's probably around Voyager sized. Here's a pic of him with Warbot Defender in a pic request thread I made. He's quite a bit taller than Defender who is between deluxe and voyager class. I'm so picking one up as soon as I can. My only question is "Does the one on sale come with the backpack?"
Only thing keeping me from biting down is the sheer amount of shipping. Sheesh, almost $30 to ship him. Wish they offered SAL on him.
The SAL option was available to me when I ordered one. It's not shown on the product page for whatever reason, but it was there when I went through the order process. Mine is being processed for shipping at the moment, so I'll see whether they let it go as SAL or bump it to EMS.
Thanks, just ordered mine and did it with SAL. How do they usually charge you? I chose paypal but I signed up for an account with my normal email address instead of my paypal address. Will that make any difference?
I use my creditcard, not used Paypal with HLJ, but I'm sure they'll message you when they want payment.
K, thanks. I really can't wait to get my hands on this guy. I'm gonna repaint him to be Roadbuster cuz I really find the Universe Roadbuster to be severely underwhelming compared to Springer (Warbot Defender). I wonder how much s/h will cost if they let me do SAL on him?
dbaz, sorry this thread got highjacked into a "omg i must buy this toy now" thread, but this custom is good and inspires people to want it or make a similar one themselves. to comment on the actual custom, the paint job is rad... but is this just a straight up repaint, or have there been any mods made to it as well? seeing as i don't have the figure in my hands, if not, would you have wished that some things were done to the figure that hasn't been?

I got mine ordered, amazingly SAL is available on him and his total price cost less then Warbot Defender did. I'm a happy transfan. Now they just need to release an updated mold of the Whirl figure.
Yeah its a straight Repaint. I don't think any mods are necessary tbh, though I am still on the lookout for something that resembles the infamous Pathblaster Again thank you for all your kind words, I'm glad It's inspired people to get their own. I Can't wait to see what others come up with.
Got that mold from HLJ a while back. Only real flaw it has is in the hips. You lose some articulation do to how he transforms there and the joint can get a little loose for the same reason. Very sweet figure though. Love the custom as well. Wasn't willing to paint mine at the time. Though that makes me very tempted.
