So here's my Roadbuster head I've been working on for the upcoming repaint of Cyberton Defense Hot Shot. I wasn't satisfied that it was gonna be a simple repaint, especially since the original Roadbusters head looked NOTHING like CD Hot Shot's.

I completely scratchbuilt it out of styrene, milliput, plastic q-tip sticks and a part of a credit card. I have to wait to paint it until the actual toy comes out so I can get the colors exact, so it'll stay in this state for however many months it'll be till the toy actually gets released.

Awesome. I want to do something similar and have been keeping my eyes peeled for a similar head.

That's incredibly ambitious, thumbs up! I was just going to see if I could jam a G1 Roadbuster head on the repaint and hope the size matches :)

BRILLIANT sculpting and construction! It looks awesome.

    Maybe too big?

Looks a bit fat on that body. I say scrap the CD Hotshot mold, and stick that head on a repainted Crossovers Captain America. :D

Whoa, zombie thread. And thanks again guys. It means a lot, especially coming from you, Nato.

Yeah, it came out a little bigger than I'd originally wanted, but it doesn't look bad in person. I may put it on another bot, actually . My local Target hasn't gotten the exclusives, such as the Roadbuster and Dirge 2-pack and every Animated pack. And I can't find one online for a price I'm willing to pay, either.

No, it doesn't hinder the transformation. I had to carve out a bit of plastic to make it fit, but it still transforms perfectly.

And as for the connection point, I made a new one. The original head connects to the flap via a flat-headed pin, so I couldn't get it off easily. So I just decided to make a new flap for it. It's connected via a small nail/brad.
