The once and future king returns.
Commodore 64 Resurrection
But will it play Bard's Tale?
An electronic launch something that I might actually want.
oooh. that link to the pc inside a keyboard looks nice too
Yeah, that wireless HDMI is very attractive.
WHA-WHA-WHAT!? GLEEEEE!!!! (faints)
The thing I always liked about the C64 is that the "monitors" were essentially just little tvs, so you could plug a nintendo or a vcr into them instead.
As for this, is it just going to be a smart-keyboard, or will it actually emulate old c64 stuff, or something else entirely? The article doesn't seem all that clear, but from the looks of it it'll be like a laptop without a screen, that you plug into a monitor or projector or screen. That's a pretty cool concept, I guess.
^^ Yeah, I used my old monitor for my Sega Genesis. And I agree that article's a little confusing. Is that first image a concept image or what it will definitely look like? And how will it be different than a regular PC? What about the games? I have a slew of games (on floppy, of course) that are probably toast somewhere in my basement. Gave my cousin my C64 many, many years ago and he promptly broke it.
