Duplicate thread FTW!! Or FTW @ TFW!! Y'know it occurs to me that this question isn't even really about Frenzy and Rumble but more about what those of us growing up in the 80s regard as continuity: Cartoon or comic? Personally I've always gone with comic since the cartoon couldn't maintain continuity in a single episode, much less a season, much less the entire series.
You're absolutely right, the comic had fantastic continuity. Now remind me: where exactly do the Earthforce stories fit into that wonderful, flawless continuity?
He never said it was flawless. Just better than the cartoon's continuity. And "Earthforce" takes place during the "Matrix Quest" (you just have to read my wonderful retcon explanations of the "missing Earth Force" stories to understand how it all fits together )
So basically, if you make stuff up, the comic continuity all flows together? And this is an improvement on the cartoon continuity... how, exactly?
I go by the cartoon sure more sources have it the other way around but I the show was my first contact with them and how I got to know them thus to me its the right way
if you go to this link, rumble being red and frenzy being blue outnumbers the oppisite FIBRIR - Transformers Wiki - Transformers 2, Animated, Toys
Neither. I support RIPFIM! Rumble is periwinkle and Frenzy is (usually) missing! ;-) Never had the toys. But anyone who calls what Rumble is in the cartoon blue always leaves me scratching my head when he's clearly something in the indigo color spectrum family (there are times he might be leaning closer to something purple, but never blue, imho).
That's the Ultimate Question? Really? Wow, someone's got a lot to look forward to... I think I have the answer though. Since the cartoon was often miscolored, I have no choice but to go by what the toys physically said, so I have to say RIRFIB. /Thread.
Rumble is to Blue like a Smurf is to Red! Frenzy is to Red like HellBoy is to Blue! Rumble/Red Frenzy/Blue
