Sweet, maybe they'll work on making it an enjoyable experience again for a later release. Or maybe it's gone for good.

I wonder if this is affecting Rock Band as well.

    Son of a....

I can't stop playing GH/RB, I wanted new ones. Now all my hope for a new game rests on Harmonix' shoulders.

About time. GH ran itself into the ground with the whole "new game every 6 months" thing.

I think there's been a big decline in the music games in general but I still think Rock Band does pretty well, its the only one I still play consistently.

Kinda glad GH is going away, it was getting pretty dire and it was really DOA after GH 3.

It was nothing more than a fad. I'm glad it's over.

I agree, I think that was the last good one. I was still holding out for banjo hero though. :D

Though, maybe they're going for quality of these-

I guess RB has a better chance of survival because of the DL content?

I'll be surprised if Rockband lasts the year.

Well, that was a dissapointment. GHs were a pretty damn good party game for me and my friends and it still will be since we can play older games of the series. Actual sad thing here is that the songs for me, I always thought GH song choices were better than RB. Oh well, we can still count on Harmonix I guess :D

does this count for dj hero too? because i am sick of guitar hero add some b.s. game play each year but djh and rock band keeps it simple. Rock Band is not going to die right away like gh because it is the #1 dlc market and it keeps on adding simple stuff that does not affect everyone elses gameplay like promode you don't have to do it but it there while guitar hero would make promode the only mode.

Atleast they would've gone out with a bang like Rock Band 3.

Yeah, GH was the ideal party game for gathering especially during Christmas! In fact, it gave alot of them excuses to buy the PS3! LOL!
