Best known to us as Rodimus Prime in the third season of G1.

Better known as GI Joe Serpentor.

May his soul rest in peace.

Aw, geez... RIP, man, you will be missed. It's a damn shame 2017 seems to be following in 2016's footsteps.

I have it on good authority that there will be people dying every year, from here on out.

I know it's not super surprising or abnormal, but it's a little sad nonetheless.

RIP to Rodimus. May Hasbro pay tribute him with a Rodimus Prime figure (that's not selfish, is it?) in the near future.

If anything these deaths will become more frequent, due to the rise of popular culture shared worldwide since the mid 20th century. The people from those eras are getting old, and there a lot of them. :(

Sadly, it's the baby boomer generation starting to die off...2016 barely scratched the surface.

    RIP, Mr. Gautier.

Loved him as Hymie. Always took things literally. Say Hop to it and he jumps up and down.

I'm sad. Rodimus is one of my favorite characters and Dick did a great job on him. He was also superb as Serpentor. RIP for real son

RIP Mr Gautier. You will be missed. I remember watching him as a guest star on many 70's tv shows before he joined our Transformer family. Wasnt until the 90's when I found out it was Dick talking for Rodimus Prime in season 3 (& others). Was truly amazed by his talent. Plus he did lots of broadway plays as well.
Thoughts go out to your family & friends. Thank you for all your years of entertainment.
