What a shame. I always thought he was a great actor, and was giddy as sin to see him playing Bill. RIP, and I hope you find peace and comfort on the other side.

 

I'd wait for the autopsy first. This sounds completely out of character for him. I'm thinking it was murder and arranged to look like a suicide. I could see some rogue nut being angry about an American playing Asian roles, but for now I just have to say that I'm very sad for his death.

I loved Kung-Fu the legend continues when I was a teen, it sort of became a thursday night tradition, and was a big factor in deciding to study martial arts. Not to beat people up of course, but rather to be as strong and confident as his character. I suppose I never got that far but it was still inspirational to see the kind hearted, soft spoken guy, ultimately come out on top.

 

Except that it's people who are close to him (friends and family) who are suggesting that it may not have been a suicide, not "the media".
I haven't seen the 'rope tied around his junk' bit printed in anything that might be considered a reputable source yet, so I'm not saying I believe that, but I don't think it can be said to "clearly" be anything yet.

 

Awesome, awesome actor. One bad ass person. This is just ughhh. My condolences to the family.

My mom and dad told me about this earlier. Sufficed to say I was freakin' shocked. Poor guy.
