Ridley Transformer

    I was thinking on making a custom transformer Ridley from Metroid. And i was wondering what mold should i use ?

    BW Transmetal 2 Megatron would probably be a good starting place; the head would need work, but that would be true in any case, and you'd need a tail, but the body is a reasonably good match.

    RiD Megatron / Galvatron has some modes that kind of resemble Ridley.

    I guess a heavily modified DOTM Laserbeak could work too.

    DO NOT use Transmetal 2 Megatron if you want to paint the mold. The paint will not adhere to his many rubber parts unless it's acrylic, and even then it may chip due to the parts bending. I would also suggest using RID Megatron. It isn't a perfect match to Ridley, but it's a much better choice in the long run if you plan on painting him.
