It's legit, it's Tiny Titans Megatron.

It looks like an RID design but Tiny Titans is a weird cross-dimensional collectible toy line, I don't think it implies anything about him being in RID2015 that he has a toy there. I guess since he can be played in the game it means Megatron is in the RID2015 game's micro-continuity, but I don't think there is much of a story to the mobile game anyway.

Except this is a design that...literally comes out of nowhere.

It's got hints of ROTF, Prime and Sharkticon MEgatron.

    This could be it.

I was just discussing this with a friend last night.

I believe it is Megatron since any character in the Tiny Titan's line that is not based off another character is an RID character. This looks like a new design to me. Plus the similarities to his Prime design stand out to me.

I can really see it especially with the similarities in the chest and shoulder area. Plus, this looks more kid friendly, but still has that serious look to it.

It does look like Prime Megs put through the RiD15 filter. I would not mind a toy of this, but I'm not sure the RiD15 line's symplisity could work with Megatron's alt mode.

Well that Megatron is actually Megatronus the Fallen in he's Covenant of Primus form, rather than Aligned Megatron himself.

Interesting. I'll need a clearer look at that model.

It was never confirmed, it was just assumed on TFwiki. Plus, we have had a Megatronus in RID. They could simply use that design.

If this RID15 Megs and we get a toy of that, I will buy it in a heartbeat, without even thinking twice.

Do you know which wave this belongs to?

I really hate the color scheme. Dark purple and turquoise... Nope.

Despite being named Megatron, the figure is actually based on the Megatronus design from the Covenant of Primus:

And the purple colours are because it's gang-moulded with some other purple guys from the same wave.

There was a YouTube video I saw of a whole section at a toy fair last year that was just custom built Transformers displays. Though this is shown along side official toys not in a custom display.

Also, the first image looks like a Galvatron design with the helmet shape and color scheme.

That toy image looks like a straght repaint of the Prime mold which doesn't match the animation model and so far no RID2 toy has been a direct repaint of a Prime mold. It's displayed with Generations figures which has retooled Prime molds before. I think that's a different character that just shares a mold with Prime Megatron.

It wasn't "on display" at Aussie Toy Fair. During Toy Fair, Hasbro Australia did little private event with fans, where they brought along some upcoming stuff for in-hand photos (including the previously unrevealed Misfire and Slugslinger). The fans also brought along some of their own figures, including that Megatron custom.

It isn't official, and has nothing to with the Tiny Titan, which, as I pointed out above, is based on the Covenant Megatronus design.
