Is RID, ZONE, Armada and Energon and Animated part of G1 continuity or is all those shows mentioned their own individual continuity?

    Thanks

RID and Animated are their own continuities. Armada and Energon are in continuity with each other, as well as the Cybertron series. Never heard of ZONE.

Transformers Zone is part of the Japanese G1 continuity

RiD and Animated are their own, and Armada and Energon are in another continuity. Technically Cybertron is a sequel to Energon, but the cartoon's execution of the concept was..iffy.

As far as the American TV canon is concerned, yes. Zone is part of the Japanese G1 continuity. Technically the last part of it, until the Japanese Beast Wars began.

    Zone yes.

RID NO, but Car Robots yes.

Everyone else is one their own.

But only as an after-the-fact declaration.

(Takara also briefly claimed the 2007 movie was part of G1 continuity.)

Don't they also claim that Animated is in the movieverse?

Technically, Galaxy Force is a stand-alone series and not a sequel to Super Link. Hasbro decided to redub Galaxy Force into Cybertron and tweak the story to be a sequel of Energon.

But of course, Takara decided to retcon all the Japanese stories into one continuity so I guess that doesn't matter now.

Zone was 1 episode after Victory (I believe) with Micromasters as the main point. You can find the episode on Youtube.

That was something only once indicated by Takara's marketing department before Animated launched in Japan. It's not backed up the show's Japanese dub or any subsequent statement by Takara.

I go with Takara's version of Galaxy Force's Continuity with the Hasbro English Dub.

I want Energon to have a restraining order from Cybertron.
