These figures showed up from BBTS so I'd thought I'd share some pics with you all.

Soundwave: By far the better of the two figures. Stocky and solid. Transformation is a lot of fun but the robot hands are viable in truck mode. A lot of folks say that the alt mode look like an Earth version of the FOC figure. Robot head can be deployed in vehicle mode. Gerwalk mode is also possible.  

Blurr: Bot mode is ok. My figure is in serious need of some Pledge in the knees and hips. Weapon is translucent sadly. Shoulder posing is limited due to the size of them. Transformation is very simple. Backpack folds out to cover the head, chest and upper legs. The lower legs, arms and shoulders collapsing to form the out car bits. Alt mode is ok but being a Ferrari it really should be red. Yes, I know, that's dumb but I'm also bonkers.

looks like soundwave has a molded visor and faceplate like his card art. or is that a trick of the light?

 

Call me GEEWUN but I would've liked this a lot better if he had the faceplate like in the card art. Or if it was gray like in Prime.

Something about the mix of the two really doesn't work for me.

It isn't a dealbreaker, but does Blurr have thigh swivels? I haven't seen any..

 

Blurr does in fact have thigh swivels. They are in the middle of the thighs. And they are REALLY tight.

 

I do like Soundwave but he does seem to have no neck. His chin seems to keep vanishing into his torso in bot mode. Plus the arms aren't great at tabbing into the 'bars' on the top of the cab section to secure his chest in bot mode.

 

Just saying, but I'm pretty sure Blurr's weapon is transluscent as an homage to the "Power up and Energize" accessories from Rescue Bots. (In case you didn't notice, that's Rescue Bots Blurr in G1 Blurr colors... in RID1X)

 

Blurr looks pretty nice, just wish he didn't have monkey arms. Kinda glad Rescue Bots have an articulated figure finally, just need the rest of the characters

 

Was excited to find SW but threw him in the box pretty fast.
Too short, too fat, wobbly head wont stay up and some wonky ass arms.

Weakest SW yet  

 

I'm calling his gun a 'Lightspeed' cannon. I'm reasoning that Blurr actually moves at normal speed but a shot from his gun slows an opponent down so much that to them he appears to move super fast. The gun is translucent because it's composed of semi-restrained tachyons which move so fast that the gun isn't actually (visibly) solid. The mystery is how Blurr is able to hold such an intangible weapon...

 

You know, I'd almost buy this Soundwave if it were redecoed and sold as MorBot - Transformers Wiki.

 

Got Soundwave today. Man, the RiD line keeps impressing me every time.

 

Blurr's cool thanks to his transformation that's almost similar to the Prime Vehicons.

You can flip the windshield over his head for a shield. With a hole on it to make a shieldgun.

Goofy head though

 

The only thing I dont like about Soundwave is that his head is a bit low in robot mode, I wish that rotating plate could move up a bit or that there was some extension or neck.

 

Would anyone like this Blurr or Soundwave repainted for Cyberverse?
