Steeljaw is way way more interesting than Prime Megatron was, and I liked Megatron!

In his recurring role over two seasons Steeljaw was intriguing and an effective manipulator, using any cause or threat he could to move towards power.

Megatron already had power and threw it away having hissy fits all the time.

I honestly love that Starscream is back. Been waiting for someone else from Prime to show up.

We had Optimus, bumblebee, Soundwave and Ratchet so far and now that we had Starscream this means we might have more coming!  

 

So RuffDuff, or whatever SS called him has Autobot logos on his shoulder?

This new Starscream looks far more beefier to mess with IMO.

 

Hasbro has removed the full episode, Mighty Big Trouble, on YouTube.

Anyway, I think it's pretty obvious we'll see some backstory to Starscream’s new look. Fixit even brought up the fact that he doesn't match the image on memory or something

Rough-Edge I believe was what I heard. Probably a mercenary too or sent by one of the Autobots as a spy working under Starscream so he's waiting to reveal his true colors. It's weird Bumblebee didn't notice the Autobot logos either.

I love the mercenaries who are with Screamer.

 

Really good episode. HE'S BACK! Starscream showing up was one of the series' best scenes to date. Steve Blum is clearly enjoying being back in the role - every line is filled with so much energy. It was a great twist to have the Dark Star Saber return and to end the ep with 'Bee being forced to hand himself over to Screamer. But at least Optimus is back and he looks ready to get down to business. Screamer's hired goons look cool and it was surreal seeing Screamer manhandle Shadelock - he's far from the abused runt he used to be. The fight between Team Bumblebee and the Weaponiser Minicons was good too.

One problem with the ep was the Sideswipe-Minicons conflict. It feels forced; he's never really been on their case that much ever and this amount of immaturity is early S1 level. Plus, he isn't exactly wrong; accident or not, the Minicons almost caused a major incident that would have gotten everyone killed. I hate in shows when someone/people screw up but when somebody else calls them out on it they need to adjust their attitude and be more considerate.

 

Agreed. That cliche has been around for years.
