Here's the thread/discussion for the upcoming episode - I get the feeling we might end up seeing Starscream in this episode

 

I really hope so. There's only so much backstory they can fit into two episodes. Having him show up now would be nice.

I'm honestly tired of seeing the Autobots always win.

 

Good guys always win trope. It's gonna happen no matter what.

Agreed. In Prime the Decepticons were very likeable, and in RID they're replaced by a bunch of new ones that are just jokes. I think Steeljaw is a poor man's Megatron and Thunderhoof is a poor man's Starscream.

 

It's a kids show. What did you expect?

Even cinema seems to follow the good guys always win trope. There are a few rare exceptions, but none I can think of right now though.

 

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is where the bad guy wins.

 

Star Wars can get away with a lot of things due to the grandfather clause. Give TF a few more decades after the movies and maybe they will get the same treatment.

 

Eh, I'm OK with that, considering the tone of the show. What annoys me is the constant reset button being pressed on the 'Cons. Just let Steeljaw build a damned team.

Nobody could ever convince me Prime Megatron was competent. Starscream wasn't much better. Plus, they had no real victories until episode 48. The RID15 'Cons have 6 more episodes to get a victory before they're behind.

 

after re-reading the title and thinking about it. it is possible Starscream may show up but i also believe that Scatterspike may be coming back as well. if you all recall, Scatterspike speaks with a southern accent and southern people do sometimes say "yall are in some mighty big trouble". it could be one of these two cons or even both. but hey im excited either way. who knows,maybe even optimus will show up.

 

I think the Autobots will deal with Scatterspike in this episode and Starscream will arrive on earth at the end...

...that or it's a cliched shrinking character episode.

The Autobots have never fought a giant Decepticon before. I do believe Starscream and Prime will appear in this episode but i also think Starscream will attack the Autobots ith some kind of giant Decepticon. Think Thrust from Armada with Tidal Wave.

 

with this episode title, i would be pleased with anything. so far season 3 has not been a season to be disappointing. aside from it being only 6 episodes. though you do make a valid point. we have yet to have a giant Decepticon so that could happen. but also keep in mind, the only cons we know that are out there are Paralon, Scatterspike, Clawtrap and Thermidor. however, there could be more that we do not know of

 

Thanks for agreeing. I think we've seen all of the Scavengers so if my theory occurs this Con would probably work alongside Starscream. No matter what I definitely can't wait.

 

Seeing as how. That was Starscreams voice we hear at the end of the last episode, I would say it's a sure bet. I also think Prime will finally show up.

that is indeed true that we did hear starscream and this season is already nearing it's end, it's safe to assums he and Optimus will be in this episode, as well as another mystery con. also is anyone from this thread in canada? if so can someone share a review of the episode? im estatic to know what's going to happen

 

I'd like to see a Decepticon that doesn't look like one of Steel Jaw's pack or a reoccurring escapee (Springload, Quillfire, Groundpounder...) maybe a version of Filtch, since we didn't actually see her robot mode up close, or Nightstriker. Or even another Terrorshock!

Also: Fifteen minutes before showtime.
