i know, you are wondering why i am not just combining Magnus and Prime, but i just want to do something different.
I am transforming RiD Prime into his base mode and having a little problem b/c of the instructions being sooooo vague. been to a couple sites for pics, but the shots are head on, and don't help much.
the part i am stuck on is attaching the ladder/tower to the base. are there pegs it is supposed to fit onto or anything special i need to do to make it right?

pics would be an awesome bit of help.

I don't have pics right now, but there are two pegs on the tops of RID Prime's super feet that plug into the bottom of the tower/ladder. These same pegs are used for transformation to vehicle mode.

I hope that helps, though pics of what you're having troubles with specifically might help.

 

the two grey covers that enclose the shinguards have pegs on them that are also used (as SL already stated) to connect in vehicle mode as well. Same pegs, same holes, just stand the ladder up vertically, that's the only change.

 

Yup, then it's just a simple matter of arranging the shoulder pads and gauntlets on the side and "boom!", you done.

sometimes i feel stupid for asking these things, but man, you have seen the instructions and know how bad they are; so it isn't so bad. thanks, guys.

 

I never really cared for RID Prime's base mode, it's pretty weak. It seems like they pulled it out of their asses to make one.
