Hello again, this time we have the RID version of Optimus Prime from the latest cgi animated series. When this mold first showed up online, it was met with a lot of hostile reactions, many whom complained about the simplistic nature of the figure compared to the FE counterpart which I can understand. However after painting up this figure (the clear blue arms had to go) I found myself enjoying it very much. The sculpt is really good with plenty of molded detail, the transformation while alittle tedious at first soon becomes an easy task, and the articulation is pretty good (though lacking of wrist and waist rotation). If we can't get a Nemesis Prime using the FE mold then I'll settle for this version (though a new gun would be nice).

Nice work man. I like how you painted his arms and gun.

Thanks for the input mate. By the way I've tried that mod for the gun and it makes so much of a difference. I don't know why Hasbro didn't think of this.

How did you get his gun to stay out?

As of recently I modified his gun extensively for better show accuracy. However before that I just unscrewed the gun and took out the springs. It was a stupid move on Hasbro's part.

Thanks everyone, this mold despite the inaccuracy of the weapons still shows a lot of character and would not mind a Nemesis Prime redeco should Hasbro ever release one.
