Is the Sam's Club RID Magnus (the one that was released alongside the very unsightly yellow Prime) the same as the 2-pack of RID Prime and Magnus released at Costco?

    Does anyone know for certain?

the costco one is just a reissue of rid while the sams club just has BLACK were the BLUE colors would be. its not very exciting and i was seriously dissapointed with this when i got it. the yellow prime rules but the magnus sucks, they could have easily recolored this in his powered convoy colors

I thought the Costco one was closer to the Sam's Club Universe version?

    1. Yellow Prime rocks.

    B. No. The Sam's Magnus has very deep blue, close to navy blue in color, parts where the original AND the Costco verson are a much lighter cartoon blue.

III. Costco Magnus is at least meant to be the same as the original. I'd think any change in color shade is a result of different production runs rather than concious effort to change the color.

I've sold two of those "unsightly" yellow Primes in a week!
    That's spot on.

The Costco Prime and Magnus were also showing a bit of mold wear, at least in the ones I bought. Parts not fitting together snugly, etc... did not have that problem with Sam's Prime and Magnus, or with any prior versions of the mold.

There's no glory, even a pink & brown Prime would sell just because it's Prime. :p
