I was going to say the same thing as Waverider, but then I saw the prices Black Convoy is going for these days. Still, it is big toy of a very popular character in a very spiffy color scheme.
If hasbro/takara makes any NEWER updated homage molds for the Rid/CR toys. I'd prefer they made 2 voyager sized toys of fireconvoy & godmagnus that combine to form a leader sized GodConvoy toy. I honestly don't want toy resources,time,slots & money wasted on creating newer molds for the rid deluxe trio of car brothers. there's just so many previous molds that can be repainted & used for the rid car brothers. like the 1.0,2.0 HFTD,Rotf,TF1 & AEC TF toy molds.
I'm VERY happy with the originals If to accompany the inevitable (I hope) Scourge/Black Convoy repaint of Generations G2 Prime, I would rather see someone posting a pic of him and FP Bruticus It would be an awesome upgrade of Car Robot Combatrons.
well red alert would make a good prowl, ratchet i suppose would be xbrawn? and tracks can be sideburn? plus i am sure some of the scout guys could make fine spychangers. edit; oh yea! rotf brawn = xbrawn for sure!

Shouldn't there be a mandatory moratorium for figures in an homage line? There were Beast Wars molds in Classics, and that barely met a 10 year gap between original and reissue. and as nice as the TFU Unicron reissue was, i would say it should have been released later, as well. i can understand seeing G2 items being introduced now, but i think a line like RiD should be pushed back another 5 years. (and i am kinda cautious about the Generations/homage figures from A/E/C...) The RotF figures/molds may offer the best repaint potential for RiD figures, but it still falls within the problem of timing. it has not been too long since those figures to be put into an homage line. but to show i am not a complete D-bag, we are due for a reissue of Sky-Byte. *fingers crossed* and i am ready for something epic with that mold.
I'd be more interested in an Armada Starscream in deluxe form. I find that to be the best design out of all the iterations we've gotten (including G1).

Well late to the thread it would seem but i wanna throw in my I would love to see some more RID/Car Robots stuff. I however do not think that the figures would need to be remade because RID stuff was so far ahead of its time. Look at the brothers for example they were awesome figures interesting transformations and great articulation. That said i would love to see direct reissues. I have the autobot brothers and the build team but would love Railracer/JRX and Omega Prime. Now the idea of remaking Armada figures is completely different. I did not think armada was a good show but had some awesome designs that were ruined by minicon gimmicks and to many gimmicks overall. Armada Starscream would be cool to see remade as well as a re-imagining of Cyclonus and Demolishor and hell a new Sideways. All figures that could benefit from a remake and REMOVAL of minicon gimmicks. That said i wanna see some Beast Wars 15th anniversary love!
I would love this. I always loved that mold I just felt it was a little too big and not quite articulated enough.

I love the RiD Prowl/Mach Alert mold. It's the only figure of that era that still earns a place on my shelf. I'm not as big a fan of X-Brawn, but IMO trying to shoehorn him into an existing mold would not do justice to the unique (if quirky) asymmetrical nature. EDIT: What I would really like is a Deluxe-sized two-headed dragon RiD Megatron, and since Hasbro's been in the habit of designing alternate heads in advance, reuse the mold for G1 Hun-Grr!
