As the title says, are there any Prime RiD figures you feel are better than the FE figure released beforehand?

My three are Optimus, Arcee, and Starscream. I feel those three are better than the FE figures made for them.

EDIT: and the Vehicon.

 

Arcee definitely.

 

Arcee, because she's lacking in a Transmutate-like face, black fore-arms, being taller than most of the other Autobots, annoying shoulder wings that hinders shoulder articulation, windshield and handles that are annoyingly visible over her derpy head, over-sized blades, and breasts that stick out to far and don't lock into place AND ARE ANNOYING AS HELL.

And the Vehicon.

Arcee and Vehicon, definitely.

EDIT: Oh, and I actually enjoy RiD Bumblebee more than the first edition too. He's less flimsy to handle, actually comes with two guns, and his proportions are less awkward.

 

Dammit, I forgot the Vehicon. Am I stupid?

Vehicon. I cannot say Arcee because she is just as bad as her original.

Arcee is so much better than the FE. But, I can't say about optimus because I never even touched a FE optimus. However, I like FE starscream more. If the RID one was more in scale, I'd love it.
And, I'd add bumblebee to the "better than FE" list. I just love him. Better than FE to me.

 

All but bee,Optimus,and bulkhead IMO.

 

Arcee and the Vehicon without a doubt.

However from the looks of it the RID Starscream's just as good as his FE version.

 

Personal preference here and people may disagree but I like PRID Arcee better than FE. Granted I don't own nor have even held the FE but all the reviews I've seen of her plus all the pictures form this opinion.

Same for Vehicon. PRID is great but the FE is harmed by that backpack kibble. Granted I wouldn't really fault anyone for liking the FE but the PRID is a very nice figure.

FE Optimus is one of my favorite figures I own so anyone claiming the PRID is better can suck a lemon.   (playing, don't be pissed)

Yeah only Arcee and Vehicon are contenders in my book. I wish Knockout had a FE version because it probably would be better than the PRID. But other than those two FE wins outright.

 

Honestly, the only ones that I see in the running are Vehicon & Arcee, and even with those I think they're tied at best in light of the RID being a lesser figure in general when compared to the FE, but that get bonus points for being more show accurate. That's kinda why I want both  

 

I have the PRID Arcee; could someone tell me why it's better than the FE? The pics that I've seen appear to show the FE with a more accurate color scheme, as well as being taller.

 

Mostly because it's more accurate to the show model.

But when it comes to color, it sucks.

 

Vehicon no doubt. The jury's still out on Arcee.

For everything else, FE is superior. I really don't get why people are saying the RiD Starscream is better than FE, 1) completely different class 2) the voyager's butt doesn't even lock into place. Not to mention that mechtech weapon is ridiculous. The FE deluxe Starscream is perfect.

 

Only Bulkhead is worse. Everybody else is a more playable, less fiddly, and more solid Transformer.

And I love Starscream too much.

 

Well, he has an accurate face, single missiles, and a cleaner jet mode.

The weapon is unfortunatly caused by Hasbro's stupidity and obsession for gimmicky, larger than life bricks/'weapons'.

 

I like that weapon. Gimmickry is a staple of Transformers lines, and while Mechtech may have done a better job at giant brickforming weapons, the RID Powerizer weapons are pretty damn accurate and fun to move around to boot. I wish they could lock on place, but the lights are really fun.

 

this except for SS cause i prefer the Deluxe.
