So, like many of us nowadays, I've managed to secure one of the most treasured of all toys, a new baby girl. Thought I'd throw up a bit of a review here,do some bragging. Kiara Dawn O'Hara was born at 3:30 this afternoon and weighed in at 8lbs and 11oz. She's 21 and a half inches long and, as you can tell by the pictures, pretty huge for a newborn. I threw up a new Walmart Exclusive DX Prime and a good ol Armada Predacon to give everyone a sense of the size. As you can see, she'll tower over just about everything in your collection, save perhaps a Fortress Maximus. The voice box can be annoying. Right now it's stuck on that shrieking cry reminiscent of cats whose tales have been freshly trod upon. It's good and loud, though, so there may come a time when those batteries just have to come out. The face sculpt here is a bit rough, but I'm certain a few days will improve it's overall texture and color, maybe even make it look cute. But, for as pissed as it looks, I'm sure it'll grow on you as it has me. And, of course, you've got to remember that these things do not assemble themselves. You've got to have a partner willing to put in all that time and effort to get it together so you can have your shiny new plaything. This here's my partner, Kat, looking very pleased with herself. I told her we should have gone for the optional "boy" attachment, but she insisted the base "girl" model was good enough. Well, maybe she was right. Anyway, if you're ready to completely change your life in new, exciting and frightening ways, I'd definitely recommend having one of these for yourself. Nothing you ever do will be as worth the time and effort put into it.
Congratulations! Little girls are one of the greatest blessings in life. I always thought I'd want a son, but the minute she grabbed my finger and held on for dear life I wouldn't have traded her for 15 boys. It's gonna be a hell of ride - enjoy!
Paint apps seem consistent and well done. The potential for articulation is there but it's going to take some time and upgraded musculature before we see any of it utilized. A word to new owners, remember that although shrill, the voice box is there to remind you when you are doing it wrong.
