Dude, I hope everybody wins this week. I'm not competing against anybody.

For the most part, I agree. However, Labor Day is the one holiday weekend I have had some success with in the past.

Between the high heat and vacations, I usually see a slowdown in July & August every year.

A complete Monsterous and nearly complete Courageous, I'm jealous :[ Not to mention the Universe Repugnus/Overbite, the G1 Prime, and the nearly complete Constructicons

Don't be too jealous - some of the figures are far from mint condition. The sad thing is that I know the rest of the Courageous was there - I saw it (it was in a different box) but I didn't think much about it. I don't know much about GoBots.

You found a Hellscream at a yard sale? That's odd.

    How's that Sludge, BTW?

that's not Hellscream, it's Universe Overbite. You can tell cos Repugnus is right next to him (and also because of the Decepticon logo on his back)

Sludge is loose and a bit dirty, but he is all there (i.e - nothing broken).

I wish i could "win a garage sale" find of the week. The best i had found was a G2 BB, only to have it's leg snap off 5 minutes later while playing with it.

Went to a massive flea market today and found these!

$35 total for the lot! It's not as great of a deal as some here, but I'm pretty happy with the find!

Man, I love Labor Day weekend! (reposted from "Recent Purchase" thread)

-ROTF Leader Megatron- this guy has been pretty thrashed. Missing the right hip thing, one part of the mech alive on his chest is broken (the rest of it still works, it's just that one of the parts swings freely now), the shoulder spike is gone, and out of the four 'fingers' on his cannon, two are gone, one is almost gone, and the other has one hell of a stress mark. However, those problems weren't enough for me to pass on him for $3 :) .

    - Cybertron Scourge- missing axe/tail

    - G1 Quickswitch- missing guns

    - RiD Sideburn- MOSC, but the card is a bit warped and the bubble isn't in the best shape (doesn't matter, as I'm opening it anyway).

EDIT: Megatron's head crest is broken too. Still like him.

EDIT 2: ... and the knee pads. Still worth it.

The whole lot cost me $18 ($3 each for Megs and Scourge, $5 for Side Burn, and $7 for Quickswitch).

Well here is what I got over the Labor Day weekend:

This stuff was also in the box. I'm not sure what it all is. I think there are some Gobots in there. I'm pretty sure the stuff on the plastic bag is Gundam stuff. I have no idea whose G.I. Joe backpacks I have. Anybody know what this stuff is?

I bought the box for $6. As you can see, I got mostly junkers and parts. I think I overpaid.

Edit: I'm pretty sure that is G1 Springer's sword/blades in the bottom pic.

The 2 blueish guys on top are both Cop-Tur. The black and silver guy below them is the variant Cy-kill. The orange guy is Spoons (recently homaged in ROTF as Deadlift). The alien guy is from Exosquad, I think.

I see you've got Savage/Noble's wings (the red and yellow wings next to the black box with the Autobot logo in the first photo). I got the figure from a car boot sale a few weeks ago without his wings. Planning on doing anything with them?

I wouldn't give up. Finding stuff at flea markets or yard sales takes a lot of patience. Most of the time I come up empty. Like today - I went to 3 yard sales and saw nothing. Persistance is the key.

Also, it's very important to be at the flea market or yard sale when it opens or even early if you can. At my flea market, if you go there when it "opens" you are already too late.

    Sold them already - sorry!
