It was a decent episode with a really good ending. For the most part, the final action scene with the helicopter was pretty cool. While Danny's death was well done, it should have been saved for another episode. They just got him back in the previous episode and set up the fact that he is ready to stand up for himself literally minutes before he gets shot.
I don't mind them killing Danny off, but it should've been at least halfway through the second season (this is the second season, right? Or was this just a really long break?). They spent every single episode trying to get him back and on the very next episode after they rescue him he dies!?
I was definitely expecting a main character death the way things were going in yesterday's episode. Glad it didn't happen though. I'm liking that we're starting to see some use of electricity too.
How many of these pendants are supposed to be in existence? For some reason I'm thinking it was something like twelve, but now Rachel destroyed those two this week and I'm assuming the one got destroyed when Danny blew up that chopper last week. I like this new Jim Hudson character. I find it funny that three people with swords can take out an entire batallion of men even though a bunch of them had guns.
I liked the episode, but I didn't quite love it. Charlie was actually pretty badass in this episode too.
Finally got a chance to catch the first ep on my DVR...awwwww the brother. Figures. Not too sure I trust dear ol' mom anyway....not yet. Glad the other kid left the dad...can't blame him. Now, to watch the 2nd ep...my DVR is getting full.
Is it just me, or does it feel like they kill off a main good guy almost every episode now and the main bad guys are going unharmed?
Last week's episode was probably one of the best in the series so far and easily the best since the break.
That was a really good episode. Lot of intense moments and I'm glad they gave closure on Aaron and his wife. Gonna be interesting to see Neville work with Miles now too.
I feel like this thread is dead lol. That was by far my favorite episode. Loved the whole mystery of who the traitor was and that ending was awesome!!
I agree with you that this was my favorite episode so far. I wouldn't have guessed that he was the traitor. It could've been any one of them, but he never really crossed my mind. That ending was great. It felt more like a season finale that just a regular episode. Can't wait to see how the last two episodes play out.
The second half of the season has been amazing. It has been exponentially better than the first half. I thought either the show would be cancelled or I would lose interest after the first half, but I'm glad to see it pick up steam. Another great episode last night and I can't wait for the season finale next week.
The show really started improving when they took the focus off the Charlie character - she is just not compelling enough to be the main character, and the actress doesn't have the chops to make up the difference. Bringing the uncle to the front and beefing up the roles of Tom and Monroe have helped a lot. One big thing I like is that the show does not waste time with stuff. Seems like we just learned about the Tower about 3 or 4 episodes ago, now we're in it and pretty much know all there is to know about it.
Last night's episode was my favorite of the season so far for some odd reason. I liked just about everything about it. Plus, those electromagnetic grenade launchers were freaking awesome.
Still very much enjoying this show! I get so nervous it being on NBC though. They are notorious for cancelling shows. Hope it makes it to DVD at some point as well!
Little bit of a spoiler for next week's finale via TV Guide. Spoiler Two of the main characters are going to die.
