That's what's being reported from Nintendo's conference at GDC today. The games will be part of the download service, along with the previously announced NES, SNES, and N64 libraries.

    4 Color Rebellion's report

    Planet GameCube's report

    Holy crap!

Ahhh you beat me to the news. :p

Anyway, I saw this coming for a LONG time. Nintendo fails at GDC! They could have at least shown a 5 second clip of Metriod Prime 3, similiar to the E3 05 footage with a "see you at E3" at the end. No hype, no nothing!. Ive got three words for you Nintendo......

Its Pre-order time. I might actually be able to put my 1st Version Genesis to rest finally.

I believe it's also been previously stated by Nintendo that there will be a way to expand this. There would have to be, since they've also told us that downloading GameCube games is an eventual possibility.

    The big question for me...

Will they restrict it to Turbochip games, or will they also make Turbo-CD and Super CD games available?

OMG. That looks NICE! Its like Windwaker + Link to the Past roled up into one.

...But Nintendo is still on notice in my book.

Since there's only 512 MB to store them in on a fresh-out-of-the-box system, I'm guessing we'll just get the HuCard games at first, with the CD games showing up after more people have some extra storage. That's still an incredible library without the CD games, but I'm hoping for Dracula X somewhere down the line.
