    Wonder how they'll handle it.

And as for your comment: I would rather have a game that is fun to play and has 'mediocre' graphics then a game with cutting edge graphics but boring gameplay.

It's funny how "innovative" Nintendo is by offering us a type of controller scheme never used before, downloaded games for the first time on a Nintendo console and a face lift to make older games look and possibly play better.

    *cough*

Anyway, I'm hoping to get a Zelda OOT with clearer visuals.

No, Nintendo. You're doing it backwards. Keep the graphics the same, and change the gameplay to work with the new controller.

Anybody who has played wario ware touched or twisted will know what I'm talking about.

The DS game is all new, just plays like the old school Mario.

I hope they do Super Smash Brothers (or better yet, bring it out on the DS).

There are some old games that they could remake, but I think the majority of the games, all the NES games anyway, should keep the old controller scheme since they already have the remote set up to be a NES controller when it's turned sideways.

I heard that the were making a Pilotwings for the Rev, but I still think SNES Pilotwings would be a great game to map to the new controller, forget about the N64 version though...I hated that one.

    Yes, it is.
That has exactly what to do with an article about Nintendo upgrading the graphics on some older games? If you're gonna bash Nintendo, you could at least think of something relevant to the topic you're posting.

I don't. Chrono trigger is one of those games best left as it was. You don't mess with perfection.

Now an updated Guardian Legend. That would be hella badass.

There was actually a group doing a fan-made 3-D Chrono Trigger, but Square sent them a "Cease and Desist" notice.

One of the most playable games I have ever played was Elite. It had dodgy wireframe graphics, but the most superb gameplay I experienced until Shenmue came out. Compare that with Rise Of The Robots; looked beautiful and has ZERO playability.
I fully agree with you d00d.

yeah, but nintendo just said that the old games are going to play exactly the same. Which is weird because the controler is designed to play differently. Thats my point. I am still going to buy a revolution, but i'm not gonna jump on the band wagon just yet.

They're not Revolution games. There are honestly very few "Virtual Console" games that would benefit much from Nintendo's 3-D controller... because almost none of them are 3-D games. Where Nintendo might benefit from using the Revolution controller with downloadable games would be their N64 library, not Super Mario Bros.

There would be a few cases where I wouldn't mind the option of new motion-sensitive controls in older games, but only where it makes sense. Arkanoid, for instance, could easily work rather well that way. I also imagine it's going to have to be used in some way to support the light gun games. I guess wouldn't mind having it in the original Star Fox either, even though the control wouldn't really be analog.
