    ^This.

I could probably enjoy a parody book or something but this seems a bit too kiddy for my tastes. I'm not sure who the intended audience is for this book, but hopefully that audience finds and enjoys it.

    Kids still read comics?

It looks like it's done by the dudes who did Tiny Titans, so I can't really complain.

Ok so you're all being mature about this i see... ...
you're all assuming that the uber-granted pre-telegraphed humor is for young audiences?

    I'll put this differently;
1 Has IDW started doing comic/advertisements by commission? Oh, yeah...

2 We as geeks, would like you to help us keep our fetishes tidy. We like to keep our mini-ponies separate from our transformers. PREFEREIBLY IN ANOTHER ROOM, and most certainly in another comic! :D :D :D

    i edited/del the comment,

but, i just relate the whole setting, talking to your toy pony, as children playing with toys, which was ultimately the same sort of denigration kiss player went for, as in toy before character. basically using the characters out of their context just for the sake of the story.

yes yes, trukk not munky,... I just don't like to see idw portraying tf as toys for boys (or girls...) and not robots.
gijoe+tf was witty and the art great, this just seems... lazy?

mhhh since there already is a IDW RID series for that audience, and since all other IDW more mature series are shifting towards younger audiences?

And does IDW have/had any relevance towards younger comic readers? I always saw them as different.
I wouldn't know I only jumped on the bus for LSotW, which seemed very far from this kinda product...

yes yes we're a bunch o gewunners which however begs the question, who is this product catered for? Are there a lot of little pony readers who might be tf fans if given a chance? cos if they won't buy it... then who will? Gewunners? mhhh, sure about that?

I'm... not entirely sure that I understand what you're saying...? Andromeda is a character from Micronauts. He's Karza's steed that he can fuse with, and is just being used as his sidekick here. Not sure if you think that he's from MLP or something...?

Welp, I'm getting this. Looks adorable, and more Art Balthazar art (heh) is always welcome in my books!

Revolution is very nice, but I'm not intersted in other franchizes nor this massive crossover.
What I'm refering to is the 4rth wall.

The spungebob approach and the related humor seen above is alluding to the fact that these are actually toys/fictional characters. While it is not directly saying it,
the puns are based on the fact that 'its not real'. Its breaking the 4th wall, which was also an indirect consequence of kiss players narrative.

Not everyone can pull gijoe vs tf, taking tfs out of context just for a crossover, is lame narrative and risks detaching the audience from the story.
Why should i care about the character if even the author is taking the piss of them and the crossover is primarily intended to sell more

Art Balthazar drawing a toys melee.
Last year's cross-event finest legacy (hope so anyway).

I now gently wait for Yale Stewart to do a kids Scavengers mini series.
