Those are kits they sold in Japan. You needed the Megatron to make the Shockwave, not sure about UM.

But they do look fantastic, I'd love the shockwave (or any G1-style Shockwave).

I wonder why Revoltech won't just simply release a totally brand new Shockwave & Magnus, rather than having to bother by releasing the so-called "upgrade kits". :/

these are NOT kits made by Kaiyodo. They're kits made by a fan, sold at the Winter Wonder Festival in Tokyo. They were officially licensed kits using the one-day license thingy you can buy for conventions in Japan.

If they WERE official kits, I'd have them on my shelves right now. I've been trying for months to get my hands on them. Ever since Wonderfest.

I think we know the same guy.

I came *this* close to buying the small palisades Shockwave statue a couple weeks ago to hack into a revoltech Shocky. I'm still hoping to get my hands on this "official" kit...

Hmmm good thinking. Could probably use heavier joints than the revoltechs too.

I have the same feeling as well.

I hope that Shocky & Magnus gets a larger release so that I could get them

Me too. While not a fan of Ultra Magnus in the least that's too badass not to buy. And Shockwave would have been an insta-buy. Poop :(
