I'd wanted to do this little fella for a while now but didn't have enough Greenstuff. He's far from finished yet, but it gives an impression of what he'll be like when he's finished.

I sacrificed pose-able feet so he'd be a bit shorter than the other models.

He's made up of Megatron Body, Hot Rod everything else and ALOT of Greenstuff.

Revoltech overload lately. I'm loving it!

Can't you use a KO G1 Bee for parts? They go for cheap on eBay.

The g1 minicon one? It might be a bit small, but the chest could be a good foundation to build on.
My B's chest is hollow and I didn't bother with a skeleton, so it was a pain trying to get it to dry in shape. So were I to do it again I might look into it

Thanks! I won't get the chance to do any more until Wednesday/Thursday next week, but hopefully I'll get some more done then.
I just got some more Hot Rod's in the post today, so some more Dinobots should be on the way too!

    I haven't updated in a while so I thought I'd share.
The paint definitely needs touching up and the sculpting isn't the best, but hopefully you can tell who it is...

I liked where you were going with this during the WIP stage, but I have to agree that the finished product looks rough and could use some serious refining. While the G1 toy may have been too small for your liking, I think a model kit for the car parts would've been better. It just looks like you painted directly over the green putty instead of sanding/sculpting it beforehand. It's a good start, though (I especially like your color placement). I've been dying to see a G1 Revoltech BB for a while. Can't recall ever seeing one posted in Radicons before.

I agree completely. For my custom Soundwave and Shockwave I used other models to build around and found it much easier and better looking, but I couldn't find something appropriate for a Bumblebee build.
I think I'll have to call this mark 1 and try a different method for another one sometime down the line.
I'm intending to do a Prowl build with a spare Optimus I've got lying around, but all the hot-wheels cars I'm finding are metal and I don't have the tools for cutting them =(

I'd recommend going to your nearest model shop or hobby craft and seeing whether they sell some Tamiya primer. For lighter colours like 'Bee here it's good to spray it white, first. Then the original colours won't show through and the yellow will be really vibrant.

I was just thinking about revoltech Tfs the other day, so this is inspiring. I don't own any, but I'd like to make some revoltech action masters based on some rarer characters.

I'd definitely recommend giving it a go, and the action-masters are the perfect size. I've only made a Shockwave from an action-master so far, but it was much easier, quicker and better looking model.

Which characters are you thinking of doing?

To be honest there's so many to choose from I hadn't given it much serious thought. whatever takes my fancy at the time! :p

I was actually thinking it'd be cool to have show accurate, action-master/ revoltech style Beast Wars characters. But if G1 then maybe a Sixshot or Brainstorm.
