    I'm on the fence: I love Silverbolt's cartoon-accurate robot mode, but I'm not a fan of the jet mode at all. Hopefully, it looks better in person.

    I love silverbolt, he is real old skool G1, its def one of my most anticipated, I'm not getting the hate for him ?

    Part of me wants to buy this as I never owned a Silverbolt, however the other part of me thinks this looks way too simple and the robot mode basically has a jet on its back. Probably a pass.

    Only Silverbolt I've ever had was the G2 version, so this one is a vast improvement to that. The "Robot Wearing A Jet Backpack" look is just G1 accurate as it was the basic Aerialbot design. I'll wait for the USAEDITION version, though - the gray and orange just don't appeal to me.

    One of the posters there said it best. Silverbolt is a backformer. I'll be passing on him and powerglide. Onslaught is to awesome to pass up.

    I don't hate him. I just don't love him enough to pay that much. The same mold smaller? Probably would pick him up.

    This. Except, I don't mind the jet on his back. But in that size, I would prefer there be more work into hiding the robot mode on the bottom of the jet. And his head - it is an improvement over the Movie Starscream "ha, now you can't see me... right?" head transform ... but still wish they could have added some sort of panel there at the least.

    Onslaught looks awesome... the only reason I'm probably passing on him is the fact that I really want all the Animated Leaders so far. :S

    Silverbolt is also one of my favourite characters, but I think the problem is his toy is abit uninspiring. Its a robot folded up beneath a plane that itself doesn't actually transform that much. Its just an electronic backpack.

    Yeah - the transformation is REALLY simple.

    Him and Galvatron should have been swapped size-wise.

    And loudstone, don't pass on Onslaught. I've gotten a chance to fiddle with him and he is AWESOME.
