io9 - Orci And Kurtzman Talk Robo-Testicles And Transformers 3 - Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Meh, the thing really wasn't that spoiler-rific, but they cold at LEAST get the number of bots it takes to form Devestator right (they say 5, he's at least 6 bots, and 7 is his usuall form)
It sounds like it's Bay's idea for the testicles, and it shows that Bay still has a very juvenile sense of humor.
Can we put "humor" in quotation marks? There were a few things wrong with the movie, but the constant storm of genital jokes were more than a little grating.
I'm still having a hard time believing these were the same people who wrote Star Trek...
I think that's what disappointed me most about the movie. After seeing (and loving) Star Trek, I allowed my expectations to rise.
Hah! I didn't care for that one, so this movie sucking wasn't too much of a surprise for me.
Tragic though, as those are my two most beloved franchises.
The Devastator testicles were funny, I'd say. But they went too far with crass jokes. And Wheelie humping Mikaela's leg was the cherry bomb on top.
Except for the whole part where they say that it was Ehren Krueger's idea.
Forget that....that part was frickin hysterical!
The part about Devastator's balls are in the book too.
It was a bit much.
Well, they had a different story editors as well as a more mature director.
Okay, it was Krueger's idea, but they took it to Bay and Bay loved the idea, and he has the final say and he could've shot it down instead of actually implementing it in the movie. The buck stops with Bay, not Krueger.
i hope there won't be a vagina in TF3
To call Ehren Krueger a "hack" would be a compliment.
Too late, you just gave Bay some idea.
lol that guys needs to use spellcheck...
Totally agree. I really didn't like ROtF. I mean, it was full of awesome CG action and special effects, but it felt like a bag of random crap. I never thought I was going to say this, but the first movie felt more coherent...
I will, however, see it again and probably get the DVD when it comes out. Bad movie, but VERY effective.
Star Trek, on the other hand, was a pelasent surprise. I expected it to be a bad movie, and it wasn't.
In Transformers, you got Bumblebee peeing
In Transformers: ROTF, you got Devastator dry-teabagging Simmons
In Transformers 3, robots will probably have hardcore sex
Actually, I found the Devastator nuts thing funny. Bumblebee peeing...no.
Star Trek story was quite shoddy too, i thought, but Star Trek was lucky enough to have a director capable of putting a comprehensible film together!!
Separate names with a comma.
