Just going to add a few thoughts since there is a great video review up.

    Alt mode,

This mode is damn near perfect so there isn't alot to say.
The new mold is slick and gels together nicely.

    Bot mode,
    [IMG]
    And the mechalive
    [IMG]

Bot mode is almost as sleek as alt mode but still has some small flaws.

I swapped the shoulder panels to give him a little more style.

His arms have decent articulation but can only move a little.(currently trying something on him)

Legs are still chicken like and are limeted due to no joints except for hip and knee.(ankle has limited movement on a peg but no ball joint)

Overall a very nice update and worthy of a purchase.(not to mention numerous repaints)If only ramjet was done in this mold:(

    Thanks for sharing.

Do I recall correctly seeing his instructions say he could fold his claws in for jet mode? Could you try it and share some pics?

How's the stability? This one's legs seem a step backwards from the 2007 figure. Are the hips ratchet-jointed? How about the knees?

    That's what I was thinking.
That's currently why I am holding off this figure, he seem so...undynamic next to the 2007 figure...

Nice pics. I see some improvements and I like the paint job, but I already have both Target exclusives so I don't think I'll buy another one.

If you've seen Peaugh's (Mike's) review of this figure, the legs' articulation is like 10 x better.

Besides, he's supposed to posed with chicken legs style. Not straightened out.

I'll check it out and post some pics

The new mold gives him some better leg movement but is still lacking.

For me, it's not how the feet pose, but how they LOOK. They don't look anything like his feet from the movie and just look bad. Everything else about him in both modes is gold.

If only I could give him 07's feets. :/

Could you pose his legs properly, i.e., with hims chikken legz and snap a pic? :3

The nose landing gear can be further unfolded more, the black piece has the wheel at the very end.

    They don't look chickeny enough!

If the teams behind the City Commander or Gears of War kits are reading this, I'd buy a pair of ROTF Starscream hands and forearms that transform as they were originally intended - eg hands folds away for alt mode, guns pivot forward and back.

I totally understand Hasbro are cost cutting right now, but losing that feature is a real shame. In every other respect, I think this toy looks brilliant.

He's an all around better figure than before, but his smaller stature really makes him oddly shaped.

Really loving this mold it look fantastic. But why is he once again TAN? I thought Hasbro already figured that out that F-22's are not that color with the release of Deep Space Starscream.

That's because Starscream in the movie is usually around in the afternoon, where the sun tints everything silver or grey a dull orange/beige, and so they based his colours off that. I don't like it either.

The first SS had better lower legs. Are you sure that the feet on this one can't angle back just a little more?

I'm surprised people are going mad over the hands in alt mode. Not nearly the eyesore that were the cannons before.
