i feel wrong for saying this, but wheelie looks great!

 

Both of these molds look great in all kinds of colors. Although I am surprised that Wheelie/Sunstorm doesn't have less orange for his bot-mode bits.

I think it's funny that the Scout figs are being released similar to how the old cassette figs were released. Over and over as different colored characters. I like it!

 

The repaint doesn't have an official name yet, so for now he's....

Looks more like Micromaster Greaser, than Wheelie.

 

Guys, I was the type who bought the both ROTF scout-class figures Sonar (black Depth Charge repaint) and Wideload (white Rollbar repaint) and this was on 20th septembre from this seller, but
wheres my figures? They have never arrived me!
Does it tooks over 4 weeks for shippment?
And I think they will never arrived me! My package is lost in the something world  
I´m live in germany, but normally the shipping from china takes 6-10 days!

So I really hope my both scouts will arrive me soon...

 

You should try talking to the seller about that. Posting about it in this forum won't do you any good.

 

Y'know, I think you're right. Everybody just said it's Wheelie's coloration simply because of the giant silver windshield, but the flame deco on the sides looks very close to the Micromaster.

I wonder if the repaint will be sold as "legs"? That's what Greaser's original name was.

 

Seconded. Everyone is just calling Wheelie because most people probably hated the Movieverse one (who I actually thought was great.) I think if it was going ot be wheelie they would've given him a head that resembled his movie self more so they look alike. So no "random prefix wheelie", more like "Autobo Greaser".

That motorcycle's name shall ont be Road Rocket. It shall be Ransack. Scattorshot might make a nice Crumplezone if he was black and green.

 

Dude, Ransack is the name of the Bi-Plane.

Also, F%$&!! I wanted it to be an Autobot, but I like the color scheme better than cheap looking Reverb.

 

Robot mode on the Wheelie-esque bot sort of sucks, but I like the alt mode enough to buy it.

Didn't stop them from reusing the same name for multiple characters before, ala Jolt, Mudflap and Longarm.

 

Not if said toys were in the same line (and ROTF and Movie07 are considered different lines).

Oh... right. Although in Dead End's case I'd argue that both the ROTF deluxe and scout are the same character anyway. I doubt that the the Knock-Out repaint is the same character as the Bi-plane.

The Dead End repaint could plausibly be a new body for ROTF Wheelie depending on the bio but I think he'll more likely end up as Greaser.

And when did the name 'Rollbar' get applied to two toys in the same line?

As for Thunderblast... i dunno. I don't really view Mini-cons as main releases but that's probably just me.

They're both clearly supposed to be seperate characters.

 

Weird. The TFwiki treats them as the same character. Myself personally (emphasis on 'personally'), I don't count RPMs.

I like these colours. Favourite decos of both molds so far.

I am also in favour of the names Really Wheelie and Decepticon Spike for these two.
